OUR HOME

Situated across beautiful landscaped grounds on the outskirts of Gosforth is our beautiful modern, purpose built care home. We can accommodate up to 65 residents in our state of the art, en-suite bedrooms, specially designed to cater for the needs of the elderly people with cognitively stimulating decor, and profiling beds. 

FACILITIES

We have a number of lovely communal lounges in which to read, socialise, watch TV which play host to numerous activities throughout the week.

Relax and enjoy a film in our cinema room or enjoy the serene landscaped garden with a number of seating areas, where residents can soak up the sun.

We also have our own shop, coffee bar and hairdressing salon on the premises. Family and friends are welcome to pop in at any time and we encourage visitors to enjoy refreshments with their loved ones.

ACTIVITIES

Here at Kenton Manor we take great care to provide a varied programme of events, classes, workshops and activities to make each day special and satisfy everyone’s hobbies and passions.

​These include sensory sessions, pamper sessions, guest singers and entertainers which family members are welcome to come and enjoy.

​We offer regular trips and excursions to local attractions so there are always opportunities to take a break from the home.

​As well as our leisure activities we also maintain a calendar of visiting professionals such as dentists, chiropodists and physiotherapists.

CATERING

All of our meals are freshly prepared by our excellent team on site, using as many fresh ingredients as possible in a safe and clean environment.

​We have three scheduled meals a day with at least two meal options that can be chosen to eat in our sociable dining areas or taken as room service. We also offer regular snack breaks throughout the day, we always take afternoon tea with home baked cakes and biscuits which we find is an excellent time for residents to socialise and family and friends are always welcome to join.

All of our dining rooms have been designed by the residents both past and present.

ACCOMODATION

All of our rooms and areas are kept to an impeccable standard of cleanliness and are beautifully decorated to create pleasing surroundings for residents to enjoy.

Personalisation of bedrooms is encouraged, and residents are welcome to bring their own furniture to help them settle in. All beds are profiled, in alignment with industry standards.
